Hey im getting slaughtered in my league 0-3. I have a pretty good team though. 10 team league, 8 make playoffs. You get a POINT per reception and a point per 10 yards receiving/rushing.

anyways its 1 qb 2 WR 2 RB and 1 flex

MY TEAM

QB: Romo, Favre
WR: Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Cotchery, Desean Jackson, Marvin Harrison
RB: Brandon Jacobs, Jamal Lewis, Jonathan Stewart, Kevin Smith, Earnest Graham

Yeh so anyways im getting killed and im 0-3. Even though it seems my team is very good, they dont get good numbers, moss and johnson have be doing nothing and my running backs arent posting big numbers.

THE BIG QUESTION IS SHOULD I MAKE THIS TRADE:

TONY ROMO
RANDY MOSS
BRANDON JACOBS
EARNEST GRAHAM or (KEVIN SMITH) *smith has lots of value with point per reception but rudi is now getting the ball too

FOR

DONOVAN MCNAB
CHAD JOHNSON
JOSEPH ADDAI
CLINTON PORTIS

What do you guys think i should do because i need to make some changes my team is not doing anything!

I'd make that trade. McNabb is a downgrade but not a huge one right now. Moss is going to be just fine and better than Chad but the value you are getting in the RB game is just too good to pass up.

If you can send Kevin Smith, I make it. Graham has a lot of value.

Graham also scares me because Warrick Dunn is getting plenty of work and Cadillac will be back at some point...

I wish I knew you personally and you were wiling to put a lot of money on Moss. The mistake you continually make with players is that football isn't basketball, it's a team game. You have to have a good qb with a good line to put up big stats as a wr. Moss is also a quitter when it goes bad.

I wouldn't make the trade purely for the reason that McNabb will likely get hurt. Otherwise you are really getting the best of it.

Although I somewhat agree with you, I can't entirely. First off, I'm the biggest proponent of evaluating offensive and defensive lines to determine an offense's success and that is one of the main reasons I am still so high on Moss.

The offensive line that gave Brady time to throw is still in place and Matt Cassel knows the system. He's starting off slow, possibly because he hasn't started a game in like 6 years (including college) but the guy has an NFL arm and will be just fine once he gets comfortable in the offense.

Losing Brady hurts but it's not the end of the world. The Patriots are a strong team on both sides of the ball and last I checked they won their first two games without Brady and have shown they are a quality team even without their star. There is no reason for Moss to be a quitter if the team is winning.

The guy is the most talented WR in the league's history and once Cassel gets comfortable in the offense, Moss is going to put up nice numbers.

We agree that football is a team game more than most others but you derive that without one player, the rest fail. I look at it as the team is strong enough to be just fine without a single player no matter how good or bad he is as long as the other parts are intact like they are here.

By the end of the season I feel comfortable I'll come out on the winning side of this one.
